Oh, My Soul I Love You!

One day while I was meditating, I had a profound and life enhancing experience. I wanted to share part of this experience because it was so beautiful and it touched me so deeply. I thought that maybe it would touch you too. As you read my words, try to visualize them, let them resonate within you and call forth your own Desire and Devotion. I relate it to you in the present tense for this reason. Perhaps it will spark your creativity and light the fire of your inspiration.

As I journey in my meditation, I come upon a crystal podium. I walk over to this sparkling pedestal and see that there is a book upon it. I begin to read the book and realize that it is the story of my life from the perspective of an observer who is evaluating the learning processes of a prodigy. I am amazed at the beautiful things that are written there about me and what I am doing with my life. As I read, I begin to feel very good about my life in general and myself specifically. I take on a deeper certainty that I am "in the right place, at the right time, for the right reason". I feel as if I am fueled by what I have read, like a fire in the presence of pure oxygen. I just know that if I were to look at myself in a mirror, I would see that I am made completely of light and glowing as brightly as the sun.

I turn the pages of the book and I know, I KNOW... everything and nothing, the truth beyond words about who I AM. It feels like a new level of confidence, a certainty of the meaning of Spirit in my life. A rush of comforting warmth washes over me as if in confirmation. Eagerly I turn to the very last page of the book, or I try to, and I realize that part is not written yet. Even so, I smile because I have a knowing, an understanding about the Journey and the Final Destination. As this insight fills my heart, I hear someone call my name, and I walk toward where I think the call came from. After a bit, I come upon a fountain before a beautiful building, and I realize that this building is my Temple Within. When I see the Temple, I know it is my Higher Self calling to me.

I walk slowly to the Temple entrance, then enter and approach the altar where I sit in Lotus position. I breathe deeply to fan the flame of my Core Star and consciously use my Inner Light to illuminate the Temple. I just know this is what I am supposed to do here. As I follow this guidance, I hear/feel following words:

In Joyous and Utter Abandon,
I throw wide the doors of my Temple,
exposing the innermost regions of my Soul,
at last understanding the Why of The Journey.


As I breathe into life the flame of my Core Star,
illuminating the spaces within,
I hear the call of the Golden One,
and offer up my Self to the Oneness.


All that I am, all came from You.
All that I am, I give to You.
I spread my devotion before You,
freeing its golden radiance in Your Presence.


All that I am, all that I shall ever be,
I use in service to You,
as I stand before Your altar,
in this place which is the World,
where all Humanity dwells.


Dear One, I know Myself through You.
I know the purest Love
and the sweetest Peace,
as I realize that the Earth is Your Temple,
all life is Your Congregation,
and I am Your Emissary.

Amen.

At this point, I opened my eyes, for there was nothing more to see or hear and the meditation was indeed complete.

Will wonders never cease... I have sisters!

Yesterday, 9.22.2008, my 1/2 sister called me and what she told me blew my mind. I have another sister, maybe even a full sister and another adopted sister (actually cousin) that I did not even know existed. I am in shock. Unfortunately they live on the other side of the country or I would be in my car this minute!!!!! I also have 2 cousins on the east coast, but I haven't heard from them yet. All women, how about that?!?!?!? I go from having no real relatives, much less female ones, to a 1/2 sister and now more, all in a few short months.

The Universe is a Fabulous place and I have an amazing Life in it!

From what they have said, we have a lot in common and I am very much like our mother...

Now I can post from flickr, the fancy photo sharing thing required by Ravelry. It is nice an' all, but I have been working with Picasa and Google for a long time and now I will have pictures and albums in two places... Maintenance is becoming complicated...

Out of the Closet with my Creativity

I have come out in the open with my "Fiber Fetish" and guess what? I walked right into a crowd! (grin) All of the craftier arts seem to be more popular than ever, especially things to do with fiber.

Knitting, crocheting, quilting, spinning and even tatting and lace making are part of a huge profitable industry. I know I love it and I love doing it with friends. What a great community rediscovered... and now it includes men too! How cool is THAT!?! I have also discovered that I have a passion for knitting lace... mmmmm. The only problem with this is that lace shawls aren't usually very quick projects (sigh)... oh well, that will not deter me, I just have several going at once of all levels of difficulty.

From the Rev. Dr in me comes the fact that this kind of "work" taps into the less analytical, more creative parts of our brains. This , I believe, is where higher spiritual thought occurs and as a result of this explosion of creative activity, a higher level of spiritual awareness is knitting us all together! What a beautiful way to seek enlightenment! (pun intended - grin)

Last week at a Chinese restaurant a fortune cookie said something very similar to the message....

Ooooooooo… Do Do do do Do Do do do…{poor imitation of the Twilight Zone theme} that fortune cookie is one of those things that make me go Hmmmmmmmm… I love it!

Obviously, I am feeling playful today. Have a fabulous day, my dears! Remember… look for evidence of your healing and your wholeness and you will find it. We will always find whatever we look for, so if we are sincerely dedicated to our own wholeness and healing, then we must first seek it out within ourselves. Once we do that, we can find it also in the world.

Wow, a new year with a plethora of fabulous opportunities! Do you have this thought for yourself? A life lived in a state of upliftment and an attitude of gratitude will be full of wonder. If life is lived in the opposite manner, it can only be filled with depression and sadness... I know which one I choose! How about you?

Take note of your thoughts and where your musings lead you, emotionally. Do you feel empowered and good about yourself, or just hopeless and depressed? If you can truly understand that how you think and feel is totally your own choice, then you are free to choose the good stuff!

As Mike Dooley says: "Thoughts are things, choose the good ones!"

so today is the day...

So today is the day after my birthday and it is just as fabulous as my birthday was. I am very grateful for my life!

Pride...

I am proud of my accomplishments. I have worked very hard to get to where I am now. It is not only OK, it is good to be proud of myself. As I write this I hear, see and feel that the greater majority of the thoughts and feelings I have surrounding the concept of Pride are negative and self-defeating. Whereas legitimately feeling proud of myself boosts me up, the negative connotations undermine any good in it. There is a big difference between being Proud and being Prideful or Boastful.

I am proud of me!!!

Being better than you were...

When you let go of your fear and doubt, and choose to embrace all the good about you that has been brought to your attention by those you trust, then you will be able to undertake anything you desire with energy and determination.

Be guided by your True Self, that part of you that is eternal and good and one with God. See all around you all the levels of existence, from the lowest, darkest vibration to the highest and brightest. At different moments in time, or even in a single day, you will find your self a vibrating at any one of all the available levels.

Your task is to be clear enough to know where you are andto have Love in your heart about this. Then, if you do not care for where you are, consciously direct your energies to a better level of vibrational existence. There are many tools and techniques for accomplishing this, find the ones that work for you in the moment.

The more you practice changing yourself from a lower state to a higher one, the less often you will find yourself where you don't want to be. This is a retraining or reprogramming of yourself toward Self Enlightenment. It is something only you can do for yourself, and only if you choose to.

I am posting my writings on the dates they were written. This means you may have to go back to the beginning to see where the new stuff is put in, mostly since March 2006.

It feels important to me to have them in date order, because of the growth progression I have experienced over the last year.

Some of the things I've posted are my thoughts. Some of them are things I feel I've channeled, guidance, whatever... I post them, because there is a very small possibility that something that I've received or something that I have thought might help someone.

My purpose in life is to empower others. I do this by just being who I am, by discovering just who that is. I also do that through RoHun Therapy, which is Spiritual Psychotherapy, picking up where Carl Jung left off...

Reach out and touch someone...

Come out and touch those who may need to be touched just now. They are sad and lonely within themselves and don't know yet how to be otherwise. For yourself, be gentle -- there is time yet and you must move immediate concerns from your mind to be able to move forward. The things of the world must not and cannot be ignored, God can only help those who will do their part on the physical plane. It is energetic help and from a global perspective. There is no personal direction of the minutiae of your lives by God, and yet the influence of your connection to God is felt in every tiny crevice of your life. God is everything and everything is God -- leave nothing out!

Meditation...

In my heart I hold the key that opens the inner room, the sanctuary of my Soul, the arena for its learning...

Amidst the dust and solitude,
profound wisdom I do seek,
not knowing how to question
or say what it is I need.
Not knowing how to listen
effectively, at will,
nor interpret very clearly
what I do receive.
Self-doubt and doubt of "the ethers"
colors my belief.
Science-mind is willing
to listen to the reasons,
but still desires some evidence or proof.
Desires I said, much softer than requires
and thus a clear straight step
toward the sanctuary of belief.
One foot before the other,
one moment here in time,
one thought of self in others,
choosing not to remain blind
to all that has been given,
all that has been shown,
to lend credulity to my rhythms,
allowing me to know.
The truth of my existence
is not often seen nor heard,
by me and never by others
who are part of the major
unknowing, unhearing "herd".
I step apart, and lonely,
walk my separate trail,
into the mountains
above the clouds
and onward through the veil.

Long time, no post...

I hit a few snags last year and although I still wrote, I didn't Blog my thoughts... I have quite a few items to add and will try to get everything up to date very soon...

Life can throw some curves on the road ahead, but once you figure out how to use the steering mechanism, the trip becomes more of a pleasure than a doubt filled uncertainty about where you are headed.

The whisper in my ear...

Hello, Dear One. You have made much progress recently. To truly own your own creative power and know the truth about being a victim is very great indeed. Once you know this truth, truly know it, you feel the joy of your True Self, do you not? When you walk the world among others who do not know, you carry the energy of this joyful awareness with you and without uttering a single word, you will deliver the message that everyone loves to hear -- "You are loved and joy is real and attainable RIGHT NOW!

This act of Being, just walking through your life, consciously placing each step with Joy and Awareness, will be the Light that attracts those who seek. The more you grow in awareness and acceptance of your own Divine Being, the brighter will be your radiance in the world of the mundane. The clearer your Light is as you walk, the clearer will be those drawn to that Light.

Be certain, Dear One, that you are constantly alert for any indication that you are heading to the deep places where you do NOT create "of the light". As you create and flow and walk in and with Light, you find yourself surrounded by seekers like yourself, seeking assistance. These are the ones you are to help Heal and to Teach. These are the ones through which you will fulfill your divine purpose here on Earth. We love you and honor you all. Namaste.

Magical, mystical being...

You are a mystic. Your thoughts run deep and intertwiningly. When one touches the deep stillness within and the quiet joy of knowing the Higher Self, one IS. cab this is the I AM, the essence of Oneness, available to all.

You are a Mystic and may not have this knowledge available for conscious use... yet. Those moments when you touch it, sense it, feel it, those are the moments in which you, without any doubt, watch those around you respond. They respond in wonderful, helpful ways, do they not? The one who goes out of their way to offer you support or assistance, is responding to this radiation from you. This draws out their own connection with that which is greater than themselves, and they offer something to you from that place. A smile, a word, a hand... pay attention to where and who you are in that moment and perpetuate that sense within yourself. It will grow strong enough to stand on its own, without effort on your part.

This is where you will be strongest. This is where the Law of Attraction will serve you best. From this place of energetic wholeness and balance you can bring to you all that you wish in your physical life as well as to your spiritual existence on the planet.

Here, not only will others join you, but also, we can come through more clearly to guide you and teach you what you need to know. Here there is peaceful abandon to that which is Truth, and bringing forth manifestations of joyous experience. Namaste

Supportive words of guidance...

Hello, Dear One. We are so happy about your realizations and healing that we have not adequate expressions for our joy. You are one with us now. You're "channel" as you call it, has never been as clear as at this moment. We have excitement for our journey with you now that you have awakened to your true Self.

As you walk through your life from here, we can and will speak your every step with you. When you see something you may not fully understand, listen and we will tell you what we can about it. When you are required to use language for communication, listen and we will give you the words. When you are approaching the seductive old beliefs, listen and we will tell you what is true. We will show you the light in a situation, whether it be through humor, understanding or just Love.

As you listen more and more to us, you will find all trouble disappears almost before it even begins and all you will have before you is a glorious vision of what is true now and at every instant of your existence. Yes, you ARE all that and more! Some of this is outside your vibrational ability just now. Here's where your faith, your believe in the things of the light will hold you up above the darkness which would pull you back "down" vibrationally, so you can manifest all you could wish for.

Not without a challenge in your heart do you come to this place, but you shall burst forth from the challenge as you have done so already. This challenge will feel so small as a bite from the tiniest of creatures because you are standing tall in the strength and power of the reality which is who you really are and why you are really in existence on the planet at this time and place.

You are light, and now you know that others have not this awareness, nor can you give it to them, just let them feel you in this state and love them where they are with understanding and forgiveness. That does not mean except what they do in their state as right or good, it just is.

And you, having let go all attachment to the rules can and will be a beacon to those in the darkness who long for some light. Namaste.
